Zobo is a popular Nigerian drink known for its deep red colour and refreshing taste.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups dried hibiscus leaves

  • Ginger (to taste)

  • Pineapple peels or chunks

  • Sugar or honey

  • Water

Method

  1. Boil hibiscus leaves with ginger and pineapple.

  2. Strain liquid and allow to cool.

  3. Sweeten to taste.

  4. Refrigerate before serving.
