How delivery and collection works

We want your groceries to arrive fresh, on time and in great condition. Below is a quick guide to our delivery options, timeframes and costs. Please check this page before ordering, especially for frozen and chilled items.

Exact delivery cost is calculated at checkout based on your basket and postcode. Please note we currently only deliver within the UK mainland.

Packaging & frozen items

  • Frozen and chilled items are packed with insulation and, where required, ice packs.
  • Please make sure someone is available to receive the order on the first delivery attempt.
  • We cannot reship or refund items that spoil because a delivery was missed or delayed by the courier.

Order cut-off & processing

  • Orders placed before [4:00PM] are usually processed the same working day.
  • Orders placed after the cut-off, on Sundays or bank holidays are processed the next working day.
  • During busy periods (e.g. Easter, Christmas) dispatch may take a little longer.

Delivery issues

  • If your order hasn’t arrived within the estimated timeframe, please check your tracking email first.
  • If there’s an issue, contact us within 24 hours for frozen/chilled items or 3 days for ambient items.
  • We’ll liaise with the courier and do our best to resolve any problems quickly.

Frequently asked questions

Do you deliver outside the UK mainland?
At the moment we only deliver within the UK mainland. We’re working on solutions for Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands and international orders in future.
What happens if I’m not home?
Our couriers may leave the parcel with a neighbour or at a safe place if you’ve given permission. For frozen and chilled items we strongly recommend someone is available on the first delivery attempt.
Can I change my delivery address after ordering?
If you need to change your address, please contact us as soon as possible at info@lanrefoodsonline.co.uk quoting your order number. Once an order has been dispatched we may not be able to amend the address.
